  1. Update to Firefox 3.

    1. Back up your profile first, and check whether all extensions are available for version 3 as well!

    2. Install theme iFox Smooth, MacFox II doesn't exist for Firefox 3.

    3. Install firefox-mac-pdf.

    4. In about:config, set browser.urlbar.matchBehavior to 2 for saner URL completion. Get used to the awesomebar, it's worth it.

    5. In about:config, set toolkit.scrollbox.smoothScroll to false to get rid of that annoying tab moving effect.

    6. Restart Firefox.
