I got a Pixel 7a on 2023-06-28 (from Jacobs Electronics, 473.89€, free shipping) with 128G storage and 8G RAM.

Rooting / Unlocking bootloader

I did not bother rooting anymore, as it created more problems than it helped in the past…

Other changes related to Android 13

  • Re-enable the 3 buttons on the bottom at System > Gestures.
  • Irssi ConnectBot is finally broken, I’ll try using Termux for now.
