The naming
From Wikipedia:
Ishtar is a goddess of fertility, love, war, and sex.
Ishtar was above all associated with sexuality: her cult involved sacred prostitution.
… and its somehow related to the Sun god Utu.
Purpose
Ishtar is my home server, currently it serves a few files and runs the music player daemon.
