Gel pens
Rotring 600 Ballpoint Pen (25.32€) with Ohto Flash Dry Gel refill 0.5mm (2.10€) (Parker G2 format = ISO 12757-1 G2). Full metal. In my opinion, this is the best gel pen you can get and assemble without custom tweaks.
Sharpie S-GEL 0.7mm (1.42€). Smoothest pen I know. Bit too thick, but the 0.5mm which is not available in Germany is pretty scratchy unfortunately.
Pentel BLN75-AO EnerGel 0.5mm (1.23€). Best value for money gel pen that you can easily buy. Unfortunately its refill doesn’t fit into the Rotring 600.
Zebra Sarasa Clip Gel Pen 0.5mm Vintage Color Cassis Black (1.90€). Smooth writing, nice clip and nice click. Note that the ink color is burgundy!
Pilot Precise V5 0.5mm (0.95€)
Pilot G-Tec C4 Gel Micro 0.4mm (2.57€). Very thin.
Schneider Gelion 0.7mm (1.99€)
MUJI Gel Ink Ballpoint Pen (1.95€). Used this one all the time during university, but they changed the design and I don’t like it so much anymore. Better inks are available today.
Ballpoint pens
Uni Jetstream EDGE black 0.28mm (13.90€). Super thin writing, yet smooth. Lower half is metal; great design.
Schneider Slider Rave XB (3.20€). Mix of gel and regular ballpoint ink. Quite thick lines. Very easy to find in Germany.
Ohto NBP-507R Promecha Needle Point 0.7mm (6.34€). Full metal. Doesn’t fit Ohto gel refills unfortunately.
(As listed above, I put a gel refill into my Rotring 600. The default ink is an atrocity.)

Pencils
Rotring 600 Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm (15.96€). Full metal.
Pentel EnerGize PL75-AO 0.5mm (4.03€). Retractable tip. Thicker than most drafting pencils, and has a rubber grip.
Pilot Super Grip H-185-SL-B 0.5mm (1.77€). Retractable tip and cheap, perfect on the go.
Pentel Fiesta AX105 0.5mm (1.29€). Super cheap, yet robust enough.
Pentel P205 0.5mm (7.07€ with 12 pencil leads)
